Joanne is combining her deep love of the arts with massage therapy.

When designing her clinic, she knew that space would be dedicated so that local artists may display their work.

Hopefully the“Art Wall” will grow, so we can host art shows regularly.

Jano has been working with clay for the last 30 years.  As a child, she was greatly influenced by the forces of the four seasons.  During the long winter months She carved tunnels in the huge snow banks that were created around the buildings by the forces of the freezing winds and full moon nights.

She has always loved to be creative, and clay became her medium.  Joining classes and learning to work with clay doing figurative sculpting, was the beginning of her career.

In the seventies, after 3 years of figurative sculpting she joined the Alberta Potters Guild.  She built a gas kiln as well as a small electric kiln to fire her work.  She has been making pottery ever since.

She now lives in Ladysmith, where she is able to continue doing what she loves best; creating with clay.
